Biography

Ben van Gosh,

Dutch trance DJ, producer, and remixer, was born into a musically inclined family, with his father creating melodies using a hair comb and his mother crafting rhythms with wooden cooking spoons on the kitchen table. This unique musical environment ignited Ben’s passion for music from an early age.

In 2020, Ben embarked on his professional music career, utilizing a MacBook from 1976 to produce his initial trance tracks, “Feel Free” and “Exoplanet,” which were released through Interflow Records. These early works garnered attention within the trance community, establishing him as a promising new artist.

To further connect with his audience, Ben launched the “Kitchen Trance Club” radio podcast, offering listeners a blend of trance music and culinary themes, reflecting his creative approach to engaging with fans.

One of Ben’s notable tracks, “A New Hope,” drew inspiration from “The NeverEnding Story” and achieved significant success by reaching the number one spot on the German Dance Charts, highlighting his ability to create compelling and resonant music.

Throughout his career, Ben has collaborated with various artists, providing remixes for Mauro Picotto, Kosmonova, Pulsedriver, BEAM, Yoshi & Razner, Magnettor, TranceEye, and Alex Mazel, among others. His remixes are known for their transformative quality, adding a unique touch to the original tracks.

Ben’s discography includes releases on esteemed labels such as ZYX Music, ZYX Trance, Black Hole Recordings, In Trance We Trust, Nocturnal Knights Music, Grotesque Records, Interplay Records, Future Sequence, and State Soundscape, showcasing his versatility and recognition within the trance music scene.
