4Rain, Priscilla K – Breaking Away

2024 / 1 Tracks / UKNOW ENTERTAINMENT LLC

“Breaking Away tells the story of someone trapped in a toxic love relationship. Priscilla K’s poignant lyrics describe the pressures, expectations and manipulations encountered in this difficult relationship. They express the desire to free oneself from these constraints and to find the light after a difficult time.
The chorus reveals the person’s determination to free themselves from these toxic pressures, symbolised by “Breaking your walls”. “Open the doors so I can finally see the light” expresses the desire to see clearly after overcoming challenges. Finally, the song depicts the courageous decision to detach oneself and regain one’s identity and inner peace, even if those around may not understand.
4Rain shares, “With ‘Breaking Away’, I wanted to create a sonic experience that reflected resilience and personal triumph. Afro House beats symbolise the internal pulse of freedom, while Priscilla K brings to life the raw emotion of that transformation.”

The release date for this electronic journey is 1 March 2024, promising a dynamic and unforgettable musical experience. Listeners can anticipate a fusion of captivating electronic melodies and mesmerising Afro House beats, showcasing 4Rain’s distinctive expertise in music production and Priscilla K’s striking vocals.

About 4Rain:

Composing for Grammy Award-winning artists, he has climbed the global charts, spreading his music around the world and resonating with an audience that truly appreciates his art.
Currently signed to Empire Distribution, 4Rain continues to captivate audiences with his innovative music and distinctive sound. In 2023, he embarked on a world tour of over 50 dates. 4Rain, a lover of world cultures, has found inspiration in his travels, resulting in numerous collaborations and projects. Among them, “Out of Time” was acclaimed on several billboards in Times Square and Miami. Collaborations such as “Best Friend” with Kasango, “Light Up” with Lemon & Herb and Dj Vitoto, “Taca na Butchaca” with Mc Gw and Mc Menor do Alvorada, and “Vida” with Mc Delux also marked his productive year.
Once again, 4Rain took his fans on a musical journey that spanned the continents of Europe, Africa and Latin America. The essence of his passion for world music goes back to the early chapters of his career.
His story is a captivating adventure that began in the south of France. In the streets of his small town, he let his imagination run wild imitating artists, secretly dreaming of the day when he could become the voice behind spellbinding melodies.
At the age of 20, his dream persisted. Gathering his courage, he set out to make his love of music a reality. His first chapter took place in London, UK, where he boldly learned to play the piano while honing his music production skills. However, the harsh realities of life imposed their relentless pace, forcing him to juggle his artistic aspirations with the need to earn a living.
Faced with this dilemma, Stephan made a decisive choice. Rather than abandon his dreams in the face of financial difficulties, he courageously opted for a new path, flying to Canada and marking the second chapter of his career. There, he immersed himself in sound engineering studies. Graduated, empowered and ready to conquer the world with his music, he turned his dream into an inspiring challenge and set off to live his American dream in Miami.
Under the Miami sky, he met JLV, who became his manager. Combining their skills, they signed their first label deal and persevered through the corridors of record labels with unwavering determination. 4Rain faced rejection and hardship but persisted until the doors of opportunity finally opened.
His career took off with the RnB pop track “Call Me”, quickly propelling him into the global Shazam charts, including in France and the US. His work has been widely acclaimed in the electronic/pop music space.
In 2018, 4Rain asserted himself with the track “Whatever”, in collaboration with Sasha Ogletree, securing a place in the top 50 electro-pop music videos at the MTV Awards that same year. He then unveiled his solo track “I Don’t Belong”, which reached the top of the Shazam charts worldwide. His singles have sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, sharing his musical inspirations with major international artists.
