Rocinante is the Alter-Ego of Chris Scott, originally from South Wales, raised in South Africa before returning to Wales as a young teenager.

Starting out as a DJ in 1988 playing a heady and eclectic mix of Grunge, Indie, Alternative, Hi-Energy and early EDM tracks to audiences across Wales and the North of England.

After leaving all this behind and taking a different career path, some 26 years later he returns with an eclectic mix of Deep, Melodic and Progressive House, Trance and Electronica to continue the journey.
Now hosting a monthly residency on South African radio show Truth in Dance with regular guest appearances on National FM and Digital shows in South Africa, Ukraine, Russia and Mexico.
2020 brought many changes with a return to playing live at sets at events in Manchester, Bratislava, Brno and Budapest.

Inspired by the likes of Above and Beyond, James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, Yotto, Luttrel, Lee Burridge, Stan Kolev and the labels All Day I Dream, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, he hopes to recreate that “open air” feeling of the dancing in sun.
