Jamielisa, better known as Jayli, is a Canadian-born, London-based DJ, producer, and vocalist, whose distinctive style bridges her classical music roots with the energy of the global house scene.

Born into a world of sound — her father composed music for legends like George Harrison and Monty Python — Jayli grew up on tour, wiring stages and mingling with artists and performers from the age of two. This early immersion shaped her understanding of music and performance from the inside out.

She is classically trained in violin and vocals, having studied at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music in London. These melodic and harmonic skills infuse her productions, giving them a unique, emotive quality that sets her apart in the electronic scene. Jayli’s sound is a vibrant fusion she calls “Trapical” — blending Tropical, Melodic, Tech House, and Trap into a hybrid style that’s both euphoric and uplifting.

A seasoned performer, Jayli has played in iconic locations such as Ibiza, Italy, Paris, Turkey, Croatia, the USA, Australia, and the UAE. She’s graced stages at Ultra Croatia, London Fashion Week, and Formula 1 events, and has supported heavyweight artists including David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello, Mark Ronson, Black Coffee, Axwell, and Stonebridge.

In 2018, Jayli became an official DJ ambassador for the legendary global house brand HedKandi, a milestone that saw her featured in Forbes Magazine, MTV, and BBC Radio 1, while also headlining events for Ministry of Sound. She continues to tour the world as a face and voice of HedKandi, hosting HedKandi Radio and performing at their flagship events globally.

Jayli also presents her own monthly radio show, “Jagged Jungle”, via This Is Distorted and Select Radio, where she curates a unique blend of tropical house, melodic rhythms, and club-ready grooves.

In the studio, Jayli focuses on songwriting and production, crafting tracks that reflect her colorful, melodic approach — with releases that have charted on Beatport’s Top 10 and gained strong support across streaming platforms.

Her signature sound combines violin and vocal elements with crisp house beats, sunny tropical layers, and punchy bass — a fresh, distinctive vibe that resonates both on the dancefloor and in chilled listening sessions.
