Alexander Popov is a world-renowned Russian DJ and producer who has been nominated for an IDMA award and has performed in over 40 countries across five continents. In 2021, he entered the DJMag’s TOP150 DJs in the world for the fourth time.

Throughout his career, he has released over 200 records. In 2017, he launched his own record label, Interplay, under the wing of the Dutch label Armada Music. Today, Interplay is an independent company that has become a leader in its niche with regular events and a studio in Moscow. Popov has recorded many successful collaborations with top stars such as Armin Van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, and Paul Oakenfold. In 2021, he entered the TOP100 best producers in the world according to 1001tracklists.

Alongside his music writing, he hosts weekly radio shows on Interplay and performs concerts. He has played hundreds of shows in the best clubs in Europe, Asia, Australia, and America, including Space, Ushuaia, Exchange LA, Privilege, and Hi Ibiza. He has also participated in the biggest music events and festivals in the world, such as A State Of Trance, Global Gathering, Dreamstate, Electronic Family, Alfa Future People, Miami Music Week, and Amsterdam Dance Event. In 2018, during the FIFA Fan Fest, he performed in front of a 60,000-strong audience on Sparrow Hills in Moscow, just before the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup.
