Angie Alfarez (real name: Angelina Sophia Alfarez) is a talented techno DJ and producer from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her passion for music began in childhood, having grown up in a family deeply rooted in sound production—she spent much of her time in her parents’ recording studio, where she developed a sharp ear for rhythms and textures.

At just 15, Angie began experimenting with DJing, eventually honing her skills across various subgenres of techno including raw, old school, minimal, hypnotic, and Detroit techno. Her sound is known for its deep grooves, driving basslines, and hypnotic energy that captivates listeners from underground clubs to festival stages.

She gained international attention in 2023 when she took second place in the prestigious DJenerates Amnesia Ibiza Global DJ Search. Since then, she’s been performing regularly across the European club and festival scene, known for her powerful and dynamic sets that blend classic techno roots with modern innovation.

One of her standout projects is “Friday Techno Radio”, a weekly show broadcast on Beats2Dance Radio (Channel 3). The show airs every Friday from 20:00–21:00 CET and again on Saturday mornings from 07:00–08:00 CET. It’s a favorite among techno lovers and is available on platforms like SoundCloud, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts.

In addition to her radio work, Angie is active in the broader electronic music community. She’s participated in initiatives like Toffler Talents and shared sets on the renowned HOER.live platform, further solidifying her presence in the underground scene.
