I’ve had nothing but pure passion and love for the dance music industry which has spanned nearly 20 years.
Throughout my career,I’ve released on numerous underground labels, including Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried, Wolfrage, Housepital, Rimoshee Traxx, EDM Ravers, No Attention Traxx, Clubbers Culture, Kidz Luv Tekno, Revibe Audio, Reflective Music, Electric Station, and many others.
I’ve had tracks in the Beatport hype charts and achieving top 20 positions in the new releases chart, particularly with Future Bass. Support has included Trance Legend Jon The Dentist, as well as industry heavyweights Armin van Buuren and Dyro, who showed immense support for his 2019 bootleg of Binary Finary.
My musical journey is characterized by my ongoing ability to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of electronic dance music producing under monikers “Dj Farouche, “DJ Ferouche” for my tech house releases. My production’s are focused on creating tracks specifically designed for the dance floor.
I’ve personally ran events from Melbourne to `London with my first event “Transition” based in Melbourne (AUS) an after hours weekly event that ran for over a year seeing many A list dj’s dropping by after their main sets at other clubs.
I then moved my events to london where last event was at the now demolished “ SIN” 2500 capacity nightclub where he ran weekly events as promoter/resident.
In recent times, I’ve received a nice amount of international radio support being played on nearly 300 radio stations globally from Jan 2024 with tracks like “Forever” (prog trance) “Satisfaction” (prog trance), “Can U feel That (Tech House) genre. Tracks like “Helix” and “Elements” achieved remarkable success, reaching impressive positions of #12 and #11 respectively on the German Trance charts on iTunes in late December 2020. Additionally, my remix of “Home” by Trizzy Beatz and Michael Frey (BringNewUnity Records) made an impact on the German Trance charts, reaching an impressive position of #87 on iTunes. I utilise my production versatility to extends beyond Trance, as my Techno releases have also garnered attention. My feature on the album “Techno Volume 7” reached an impressive position of #6 on the Techno albums chart on iTunes (Ecuador), while the compilation “World of Techno Vol 7” climbed to #124 on the German Techno album iTunes charts.
To stay at the forefront of the industry, I hosts a popular weekly radio show called “Scorch Felix Live,” which recently celebrated its 5th year. The show allows him to stay ahead of the curve by showcasing pre-release tracks from renowned labels such as Armada, Who’s Afraid of 138, mau5trap, Spinnin, Ministry of Sound, Armind, and many more. This exposure to cutting-edge music continually fuels my creativity and ensures that my productions remain fresh and innovative.
Having traveled extensively, showcasing my DJ style, I’ve honed my skills and artistic vision throughout my extensive career. While I primarily focuses on the ever-evolving genres of Hard Techno, Tech Trance, and Up Trance, My productions reflect a diverse range of influences I have assimilated over the years. With each release, I try and move myself forward as an artist.
