The Story of Radio Ultra Max
The Story of Radio Ultra Max
Radio Ultra Max was born out of a genuine passion for music and radio – a passion that has been with me for many years. My journey in broadcasting started much earlier when I co-founded another online radio station. It was a time of intense work, growth, and establishing international connections. Thanks to my own determination, I brought world-class DJs to that project, built the programming schedule, and took care of the station’s quality and development. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the fate of that radio station turned out differently than I had planned. The support I expected from my co-owner turned out to be illusory – I was deceived, and the trust I invested in that project was seriously betrayed.
These difficult experiences made me realize one thing: true passion is not about building your own position but about creating something greater than yourself. In my view, passion is not meant to serve the ego – I am not the most important part of this story; the radio itself is. It is into this project that I’ve poured all my heart and energy. That’s why my second and most important project became Radio Ultra Max – a station created out of the need to build something lasting, honest, and real. A place dedicated to people who love electronic music.
From the very beginning, Radio Ultra Max has prioritized the highest sound quality, treating audio as a key element in building the atmosphere and experience of each broadcast. In the world of online radio, stream quality is often neglected or pushed aside – with us, it’s the exact opposite. All transmissions – both live and via AutoDJ – are broadcast in studio-quality 320 kbps MP3 format to preserve the full dynamics and depth of sound. We use professional audio processing tools, sound processors, and mastering systems to ensure that music on Ultra Max sounds clean, consistent, and powerful, no matter the genre.
We also make sure that only top-quality materials reach the stream – no lossy sources or random low-quality files. We cooperate with many record labels and maintain direct contact with artists, allowing us to obtain official versions of tracks in original masters and club mixes.
Radio Ultra Max also embraces genre diversity. Although the station’s roots lie in trance and progressive music, it has been dynamically expanding its offer in response to listener needs and current global electronic music trends. Very soon, we will launch three dedicated music channels:
🎧 Ultra Max House Channel – for fans of broadly understood house music: deep, tech house, funky, and future house.
🎧 Ultra Max Techno Channel – focused on techno sounds: from classic Detroit to industrial, minimal, and melodic techno.
🎧 Ultra Max Vocal Trance Channel – for lovers of vocal trance: lyrical, emotional, and melodic.
In 2024, Adrian van Angel joined the team – an experienced DJ and sound enthusiast 🙂 known for his unique style and vast knowledge of trance music. On our airwaves, he created his own show, “Adrian van Angel Trance Dizziness Broadcast”, where he regularly presents carefully selected trance sets and hosts special guests from around the world – both established and promising artists from the electronic scene. In addition, together with Adrian, we run the “Latest Global Releases” program, where every month we select the freshest releases from the labels we cooperate with.
From the very beginning, DJ D Line has also been present on the station. Our collaboration started quite naturally – one day I heard him playing a track from the catalog of our radio label, Ultra Master Records. This event sparked our acquaintance and long-term cooperation. DJ D Line is an excellent selector of trance and progressive music and a person who actively supports the development of the station and young talents.
Ultra Max Radio also features outstanding figures from the global music scene, including:
🎧 Skytech – a leading representative of the Polish EDM scene, with his own show “Skytech Presents”.
🎧 Ori Uplift – creator of the cult show “Uplifting Only”.
🎧 ILLENIUM, Castor & Pollux – their official radio shows are an integral part of our offer, emphasizing the international character of the station.
🎧 Ben Van Gosh – who appeared as a guest on the “Trance Dizziness” show and also hosts his own original program “Kitchen Trance Club”, which we are very happy about.
🎧 Solarstone – an icon of the pure trance genre, regularly featured on our airwaves.
🎧 Paul van Dyk – a legend of the global trance scene, appearing in special editions and guest sets.
🎧 MDB – a member of the legendary Polish group Clubbasse, author of many of the band’s hits, an icon of the Polish club scene whose work is permanently etched in the history of national clubbing.
…and many, many more excellent artists whose list is constantly growing – just visit our website: www.ultra-max.fun in the “Artists” section to see the variety and strength of our music offer.
Radio Ultra Max is a place created with passion – without compromise, open to new names, young artists, and innovative sounds. We are currently developing collaborations with various labels to gain even greater recognition among listeners. Modestly speaking, around 20,000 listeners from 89 countries visit us monthly, and we want to keep growing and strengthening our position in the radio market.
Soon, at the beginning of the summer holidays, Paul Kevin Masterson will join our broadcast – a Northern Irish DJ and producer from Belfast, currently living in London, best known for his recordings under the pseudonym Yomanda. It is a great joy and honor for us to host such an outstanding figure in the world electronic scene. We have many ambitious plans, but at this stage, we are still in talks and preparations, so details will be revealed soon. We guarantee there’s much to look forward to!
Ultra Max is not just a radio – it’s a community created by people with passion, for whom electronic music is an inseparable part of life.
