DJ Hazel Has Passed Away – A Legend of the Polish Club Scene

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of DJ Hazel – a true icon of the Polish electronic music scene. His body was found in the town of Skępe, near Lipno.

DJ Hazel was known for his electrifying energy behind the decks and his unique style that left a lasting mark on Poland’s club culture. Active since the 1990s, he captivated crowds at the biggest festivals and clubs across the country, becoming a symbol of the golden era of dance music in Poland.

To many, he was more than just a DJ – he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of inspiration. His untimely death is a great loss for the entire music community.

Rest in peace, Hazel. Your music will live on forever.

History of the Polish duo We2BeDJ

Two years ago, a unique story began for this couple who combined passion and professionalism into one. Agata and Mariusz are a married couple with over 20 years of experience.

She (DJ MiAgi) – with over 10 years of experience as a dancer, performing in competitions and having an excellent sense of rhythm – decided to try her hand at the DJ console. It was a new, inspiring path that allowed her to cross the boundaries of expressing herself through music. He – watching her first steps in this field, felt that he would like to become a part of this musical adventure.

He (MX DJ) – an inventor and scientist, former athlete, owner of the “KOORDYNACJA” medical center and an electronics enthusiast – has always created new devices for rehabilitation, helping others to get back to fitness. His technical sense and precision perfectly complemented her artistic vision. As a lover of innovation, he was fascinated not only by music, but also by the equipment on which they could create unique mixes. His knowledge of technology allowed them to choose DJ equipment that perfectly suited their needs, as well as solve technical problems that came their way.

This is how the duo was born, not only in life, but also on stage. Now together they create their own studio – “We2Be DJ Studio” – a place where they share their music on all streaming platforms. This studio is a shared space, where every sound is like another chapter of their story. We2Be DJ Studio is their manifestation of their love for music, but also their passion for cooperation and mutual inspiration.

DJ MiAgi reached the Final of the MASTER POLAND DJ BATTLE Polish Championship 2025, where she won the Audience Award.

Recently, the We2Be DJ duo has also begun their adventure with creating their own music.

His nickname (MX DJ) comes from the fact that his second passion is car racing, where he races a Mazda MX5 in the world’s largest car league, Miata Challenge. And since they share their passion, MiAgi also recently started racing in this tiny roadster.

Her nickname (MiAgi) came from her tenacity and inclusiveness, which was presented by the martial arts master from the movie Karate Kid, Miyagi. And since her husband was a wrestler for a dozen years and they are both graduates of the Academy of Physical Education, they decided that this nickname would perfectly reflect her character as a DJ.

In their marriage, art meets science, and technology meets dance, creating a harmonious whole sweetened by love for music that they now share with others.

Robert Miles was born in the picturesque Swiss town of Fleurier as the son of Antonietta and Albino Concina, Italian immigrants who settled in Switzerland. He became interested in music at a young age and began learning to play the piano. In the 1980s, he started performing as a DJ in several Italian clubs, where he gained his first experience as an artist.

One of the breakthrough moments in Robert Miles’ career was in 1996 when he released his first single entitled “Children”. This song immediately gained popularity in Europe and the USA, selling over 1.5 million copies in Europe alone. “Children” reached the second place on the UK charts and first place on the German charts. This song became a precursor to the dream trance genre.

The following year, in 1997, Robert Miles won the prestigious Brit Award for Best International Newcomer, which confirmed his talent and outstanding achievements in the music world.

In 2013, he decided to start his own radio station, OpenLab, which is broadcasted on Ibiza and Formentera. This station quickly gained popularity, and Concina was recognized as one of the most innovative and influential music producers in Europe.

Unfortunately, on May 9, 2017, Robert Miles passed away at the age of 47 after a 9-month battle with cancer. His friend Joe T. Vannelli announced his death on Facebook. Although the artist is no longer with us, his music and contribution to the development of the trance genre will remain forever in the hearts of fans who still appreciate his work and remember his artistic legacy.

What The F is a journey into my sound in all its splendour and diversity. It is where the classic me meets my future self. It is a culmination of my work rehashed, remixed, reinvented with a futuristic approach.

In the upcoming months, I will reveal various portions of this story. But expect the unexpected; sight and sounds are not what they seem or appear to be.

For the first time in my career, I am merging my entire work to create something unique that infuses the past with a future approach. I will be taking everything that has been done before and adapting new arrangements. I will be rediscovering old records and sounds I’ve created that I’ve never played out before and repurposing them for this unique show.

I will use this show to take the fans on a journey through the full breadth of my work, crossing genres that will lean into the known historical references of my music and the undiscovered ones.

This will be a total, absolute Ferry Corsten experience.

Angelika Piznal – Polish singer and songwriter

Her name is Angelika Piznal, she comes from Bielsko-Biała (southern Poland). She is 22 years old and works under a musical pseudonym – Angela. She started writing her first lyrics at the age of 13.
From an early age she has been performing in front of audiences. In middle school she performed during the school contests “I have talent” and managed to win an award.
She runs a channel on Youtube, where she uploads her songs, she also contributes a lot on Instagram.
Throughout the pandemic period, she actively participates in virtual choirs as well as international competitions, in which she wins high places.
She attends a private music school in Bielsko-Biała – Bielsko Song Studio, where she trains her vocals under the guidance of Klaudia Miszczyk.

Last year she won the “2020 Personality of the Year” award in the category of Culture in Bielsko-Biała. She was appreciated for her participation in virtual choirs, international competitions and charity work.

Love Parade is back! The iconic event will take place in 2022

The young audience certainly does not know Love Parade, which is a pity – because we are talking about one of the most famous and biggest techno music events of the early 21st century. After the tragic events in 2010, where 21 people died and over 500 were injured, Love Parade did not take place again. Now – after a 12-year break since the last edition – the parade returns to the streets of Berlin.

Nearly 400 thousand euro
In order for the event to return to the salons, its co-organiser Dr. Motte together with the non-profit organisation “Rave the Planet” organised a collection for the organisation of the event. This proved to be a success, as more than 24,000 people contributed nearly 400,000 euros.

THANK YOU for being with us for one year now! Although it has been a very difficult time, there has been no shortage of music and love to keep us going!

With your help, we have already raised over €390000 towards our social goals! We are stunned to see that 24,000 people have participated in our fundraising campaign! We love you for it!

Rave the Planet
With the funds raised, the event was supposed to return to Berlin already this year. However, due to a pandemic, the organisers decided to postpone it until 9 July 2022. Of course, this is all to ensure that the parade takes place in the best possible shape.

The organisers have published a statement about the event in three languages – English, German and… Polish.

A nostalgic return
For many older lovers of electronic music the return of Love Parade is exceptional news. The comeback of this cult event evokes many wonderful memories from the streets of Berlin or Ruhrgebiet. For the younger ones, on the other hand, it will be a great opportunity to feel that special atmosphere on their own skin and have fun freely on the streets of Berlin. We look forward to hearing more, as this event looks set to be one of the most iconic of next year’s season.
